Tuition Exchange

  • Nationwide tuition exchange allows CUA employees to apply their tuition   assistance benefit for their college-age dependent children at other colleges or    universities in the National Tuition Exchange Arrangement. To view a complete list of participating colleges and universities, visit www.tuitionexchange.org.
  • CUA will award scholarships for full-time undergraduate study at a participating    university.
  • Awards are made for one academic year at a time.
  • College age children of CUA employees must plan to enroll or attend institutions  participating in the National Tuition Exchange Arrangement (NTEA - see    www.tuitionexchange.org) one year before the academic year in which they will begin school. For example, if a CUA employee's college-aged dependent child wishes to attend a college or university in the NTEA starting in the fall semester of 2010, the CUA employee must apply for the tuition exchange scholarship by the October 2009 deadline.
  • To view a list of participating Tuition Exchange Schools, please click here.
  • To learn more about the program, please read the CUA Tuition Exchange Program Guidelines.

Tuition Exchange applications for the 2010-2011 academic year are due in The Office of Human Resources on October 2, 2009. To review an application for the Tuition Exchange benefit, please print out the Tuition Exchange Application. Please be sure to use the 2010-2011 Academic Year version of the Tuition Exchange application form. Please check the Human Resources Announcements page periodically for information on upcoming Tuition Exchange deadlines.

If you have any questions about the Tuition Exchange program, please contact Bailey Mitchell in the Office of Human Resources by e-mail or by phone at (202) 319-5598.
