After I submit an Employment Application, what happens?
Applications are reviewed and those that meet the minimum qualifications are considered for the position. Within 2-3 weeks of initial submission, the department will begin to review applications that meet the minmum qualifications. PLEASE, YOU NEED NOT CALL TO SEE IF YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED. Unfortunately, The Office of Human Resources will only be able to contact those applicants who may be considered for interviews.
How many times can I apply for the same position?
You may apply for the same position as many times as you like, but ONLY 1 application is necessary to be considered for a particular position. Applying multiple times for a particular position will not speed up the application process or cause the reviewer's consideration of an applicant's qualifications to change.
If you applied for a position, were rejected and wish to apply for that position when it becomes available again, you may.
How many different positions at CUA can I apply for at the same time?
If you believe that you are qualified, you may apply at the same time for as many different positions at CUA as you wish.
